HSPU kip felt strong but shoulders got tired quick. I really felt that the band assist with the Pistols was the most effective method I've ever tried. The band allowed me the ability to vary the amount of resistance on each rep to maximize effort and stabilize my balance...depth was great and only fell on my ass twice. Appreciated the encouragement from those witnessing my demise towards the very end.

Unbroken PUs, 2 abmats first 7 rounds, 1 abmat last 3 rounds...forced upon me by Julie :) Closest to rx I've ever been w/my HSPU. Oh Yeah... you heard right JT, I was finally upside down on the wall the entire WOD!

Wait for it.......31:29 Ha! But I did all pull ups and most were chin above bar! Box HSPU and mostly assisted pistols on an irrigation box with a 25 & 10.
Katie - you are so great for my ego. THANK YOU. I'm working on getting even with you for last week - where my last memory is you maxing more than 30# more than me (brat!). And beating me every OTHER day of the week, too!

time to get of the box
Started with 1 abmat on HSPU, had to add 1 more after 4th set.
Slower than last time but I did it rx'd this time.
Pistols sucked arse. Have to learn how to kip on those HSPUs.

pistols were much better.HSPU's not so much. Better pistols were the reason for the faster time
10:15 9/23, but those HSPU were only using a towel and a bloody head, instead of 45# plates and a nice soft abmat.
