In honor of Matt Nuss and the chapters of information he always writes in the comment section, I will add some additional info about my WOD. I did some heavy squats this morning and I was exhausted for the workout. I didn't think I would have any energy for it. However, I pushed through it and got a decent number of rounds. Great WOD, keep them coming like this. That will be all.

The Snatch Strikes Back

Last night we got little sleep, though more than the past few nights. Work continues to provide a drain during the daytime hours while a tiny dog drains during the night. I've gotten more familiar with the knurling on our barbells than I care to mention, having spent so much time recently staring at them doubled over, yawning, staring, swearing.

This WOD seemed so easy - like so much fun - at first glance. Round two proved to be unexpected surprise as fatigue set into the shoulders, set up shop, and never left. Still while writing this my shoulders burn, but I'm satisfied with the numbers. I suppose you could say it was the best of times and the worst of times. Or something.
