Like so many of us, I feel lucky to have found CrossFit, and have coached it since 2009. I’ve trained professional, elite and everyday athletes since 1998 to achieve performance and personal health and fitness goals in a variety of fitness environments. I grew up a competitive athlete (NCAA D1 tennis player, road cyclist, marathoner, and volleyball player), and found a competitive outlet, a results-focused fitness program, and camaraderie with the community of athletes in CrossFit. I have a distinct passion for helping others set and achieve their fitness and nutrition goals and evolved my experience coaching group exercise and cycling into coaching CrossFit.

As a Head Trainer with CrossFit Headquarters’ Seminar Staff, I’m privileged to train L1 and L2 CrossFit trainers and have judged many CrossFit competitions, including the CrossFit Games. In addition to coaching at CrossFit Reston and working with HQ, I offer Nutrition Coaching programs to groups and individuals through SoMoved Nutrition (,  teach cycling classes, and run marketing and communications firm Vivazu Communications (
