Just like many people, I wish I had found CrossFit sooner. I played soccer my entire childhood and then I became physically inactive after high school until I was 25. During that time I really struggled with my weight and general health and my confidence in myself and my body was so low. 

When I found CrossFit in 2016 it changed my life. Being surrounded by a community of strong women and men who support you and push you to keep going even when you think you've got nothing left is so inspirational and motivating. I fell in love with the competitiveness, community, and challenges that CrossFit provides and it gave me a sense of strength and direction to fight for myself, my body, and my health. Sometimes all you need in life is a hand that's going to reach out and provide you some guidance and encouragement, and CrossFit is where I found that. Giving back to the community and helping people through their fitness journey, especially the new faces that walk through our doors, is something I really look forward to. 

In 2017 I took my passion for food and fitness to the next level by tackling the foundation of CrossFit, nutrition. Over the last year I have committed myself to nutrition goals that I had set for myself and have completed my Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certificate. In 2018 I joined the SoMoved Nutrition team as a Nutrition Coach and have been running the SoMoved Nutrition Test Kitchen, prepping healthy recipe options for our clients and followers.
