On the Road Workouts

Are you traveling out of town? Can't make it to the gym today? Here are some ideas to keep your workouts going.

  • 5 rounds of: 20 push ups, 20 sit ups, 20 walking lunges lunges
  • Perform rounds of 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 reps of: Burpees, Squats, Renegade rows (empty hand)
  • AMRAP in 20 minutes of: 5 push ups, 10 squat jumps15 supermans
  • Run 5k
  • 5 rds. for time of: 20 tuck jumps, 20 dbl. unders (or 40 singles)
  • AMRAP in 20 minutes of: 5 Body builders (same as burpees but when you kick back you need to keep your legs together, do a push up, after the push up kick your legs apart using a scissor like motion, then bring your legs back together, then bring your legs back to your chest and stand up); 10 futtlerkicks (4-count); 15 jumping jacks (4-count)
  • 5 rounds of: 10 mountain climbers (4-count), 20 hollow rocks, 30 supermans
  • For time: 100 burpees
  • For time: 50,40,30,20 & 10 rep rounds of double unders and sit ups
  • For time: 100 air squats. Rest 3 minutes. 100 lunges for time
  • AMRAP in 20 minutes of: 10 tuck jumps, 10 push-ups
  • For time: 500 jumping jacks
  • Five rounds: run 1 minute, unanchored sit ups for 1 minute
  • 3 rounds for time: Run 3 minutes, 20 walking lunges, 20 push ups
  • Dead by burpees: 1 burpee the 1st minute, 2 burpees the 2nd minute....continue adding burpees until you can’t complete the required number of burpees for that minute
  • Run 400meters, Run 200meters backwards, Run 800meters, Run 400meters backwards
  • For time: Run 400 meters, 100 squats, Run 400 meters, 75 squats, Run 400 meters, 50 squats, Run 400 meters, 25 squats
  • Run 1 mile, stopping every minute to do 10 pushups (or burpees)
  • For time: 400 meter walking lunge
  • 5 rounds of: 30 jumping jacks, 20 squats, 10 burpees
  • Alternating double tabata (8 rounds) of: HSPU, Sit ups
  • For time: 100 mountain climbers, 75 jumping jacks, 50 good mornings, 25 squats, 50 good mornings, 75 jumping jacks, 100 mountain climbers
  • Tabata on the road: Squat jumps, Sit ups, Push ups, Lunges (in place)
  • For time: 50 of each - situps, double unders, sit ups, walking lunges, sit ups, diamond push up, sit ups
  • 3 rounds of: 10 pistols (alternate legs), 10 flutterkicks (4 count),10 clapping push ups (or regular push ups)
  • 5 rounds: 20 inchworms, 20 squat jumps, 20 push ups
  • 5 rounds: 10 pull ups, 10 hollow rocks, 200m run
  • 5 rounds: run 1 minute, burpees 1 minute
  • Run 1 mile. Do 10 hand-release push ups every minute
  • For time: 100 push ups
  • For time: 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 rep rounds of burpees and situps
  • Invisible Fran - 21,15,9 rep rounds of air squats and push ups
  • 3 rounds: 10 HSPU, 200m run
