We are a Crossfit-dedicated gym in Fairfax, Virginia, and the first affiliate in the Northern Virginia area. We provide a high-intensity core strength and conditioning program that focuses on all ten components of optimal physical fitness: endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy.

At CrossFit Fairfax our mission is to provide you with the BEST and most efficient fitness training. We are not specialists. Our fitness program focuses on functional exercises, athletic conditioning, kettlebell training, Olympic and power lifting, gymnastics, plyometrics, rowing, running and jumping rope. We train a wide variety of people of all ages and fitness.
We offer group CrossFit classes and private training. Our group classes integrate techniques and skill work with highly varied, challenging workouts. Our one-to-one personal training and our semi-private training sessions provide focused individual guidance and coaching tailored to the individual’s needs and goals.

February 11, 2012 - Gymanstic Clinic with Gretchen Kittelberger This 3 hour workshop will focus on many of the gymnastics movements commonly seen in CrossFit as well as introduce some elements of basic tumbling, including freestanding handstands and handstand walks, forward and backward rolls, as well as cartwheels and round -offs. There will be an emphasis on proper technique, safety, and body positioning. Skills to be covered: Handstand and handstand walking work, forward and Backward Rolls, Kipping Handstand Push-Ups, Muscle-Ups, Cartwheels, The "Hurdle Step" (the approach and entry for running tumbling passes). The cost per athlete is $100. Space is limited (only 10 people) so make sure to register soon!

February 25 & 26, 2012 At CrossFit Reston (our sister affiliate). The Level 1 Trainer Course introduces the mechanical, conceptual, and theoretical foundations of CrossFit. Additionally, there will be “break out’ sessions for demonstration and practical application of the 9 Foundational Movements. The lectures, demonstrations, presentations, and breakouts all serve to indoctrinate participants with CrossFit’s conceptual underpinnings, while the workouts serve to reinforce/ drive home the application.
