I first discovered CrossFit in 2007 when I was working at a "globe gym" as a personal trainer. I loved the constantly varied workouts and the daily challenge for myself and my clients. I have been coaching and training in CrossFit ever since! I enjoy being both a student and teacher of CrossFit because there is always something new to work on and improve on as you practice the movements. It is my mission to deliver a message of health and wellness to my community and in my work settings. My degrees in Exercise Science and Nursing have provided me many opportunities to share that message- working with older adults living in a retirement community, with middle and high schoolers as their school nurse and with all ages and skill levels at the CrossFit box. As a CrossFit athlete, I have cultivated a better work ethic, a sense of discipline and a belief in celebrating the small victories. These characteristics have positively impacted all aspects of my life inside and outside of the gym. You don't have to compete in CrossFit to experience the positive effects, just showing up and putting in your best effort daily in class will change you. A favorite phrase of mine is: you are stronger than you think you are. We are here to help you develop and witness that inner and outer strength in a safe, encouraging and FUN environment.
